Episode 7: Cass Campbell

Cassandra Campbell is an instrumental storyteller, a fingerstyle guitarist who writes, perform and record music for relaxation and meditation purposes.
She held a ukulele in her hands from the age of 4 and began guitar lessons at 7. Cassandra enjoyed all forms of music but eventually pursued a career as a police officer with the NSW police until she was medically retired.
She later rediscovered her love for guitar and will graduate in 2020 with a Bachelor of Music at the Conservatorium of Newcastle where she has a special interest in Latin guitar and world music.
She holds an AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) accreditation for classical guitar and has performed in many Newcastle Musical Productions including “We Will Rock You – the story of Queen”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “Les Miserables”.
Her music comes from a place within that flows from a deep connection to the rhythms of nature and life around her.
She is inspired by landscapes, their many forms, and colors and from visiting Ancient Sacred sites while traveling.
Her soothing melodies, subtle harmonies, and sonic pulse take people on a journey that helps them explore and create space within themselves – inviting a sense of peace, relaxation, and connection.
She has played at workshop events in Sydney for Beata Alfoldi, “Solstice Gathering” and Stacey Demarco, “Moon Bloom”.
